The Sega Saturn Stunner (marketed as the Virtua Gun in Japan) is the official light gun peripheral released by Sega in 1995 for the Sega Saturn. It is widely considered one of the best and most comfortable retro light guns ever made due to its ergonomic, futuristic design inspired by classic sci-fi sidearms.
Compatibility & Technology
CRT Requirement: Like almost all light guns from the 8th, 4th, and 32-bit generations (such as the NES Zapper or PlayStation Justifier), the Stunner relies on the hardware mechanics of CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) televisions. It will not work on modern flat-screen TVs (LCD, LED, OLED) unless you are using specialized retro-gaming adapters or hardware mods designed to handle light gun tracking on modern displays.
