The SGB2 features a link port, enabling two-player Game Boy games to be played on the Super Nintendo using a link cable and either another Game Boy or a second SGB2.
Correct Clock Speed:
Unlike the original SGB, which ran slightly faster than the Game Boy, the SGB2 incorporates an internal oscillator to run Game Boy games at the original handheld's clock speed (4.194 MHz).This results in smoother scrolling and audio playback, free from the slight speed increase and pitch change of the original SGB.
LED Indicators:
The SGB2 includes a green link LED and a red power LED to indicate connection and power status, respectively.
New Borders:
The SGB2 comes with eight new default borders, though the original SGB borders can still be accessed through a code.
Sleeker Design:
The SGB2 boasts a transparent blue plastic casing, giving it a distinct visual difference from the original.
Border Limitations:
Some games with built-in borders may not be compatible with the SGB2's border selection feature, and some games may have unique borders available only on the SGB2
